Big Mac is a Durham native born in the Haiti district.  He worked for several years for a fencing company before transitioning to the Durham Academy team, where he has been for over thirty years.

Big Mac is a beloved member of our program.  Yes, he knows every street, so we are seldom lost.  But mostly he loves everyone in our program.  We feel really, really lucky to have our adventures alongside Big Mac!
